Beauty obsessions: primary colors & Rooney Mara

Not that they are related.

After all the "bling" and fuss about the holidays and sparkly nail polishes, I have officially departed from that phase into the cream world. Yes, the plain ol' cream color polishes. And today, I want to introduce the three polishes that I'm currently wishing for: Deborah Lippmann's Girls Just Want To Have Fun, Yellow Brick Road, and I Know What Boys Like:


These colors are perfect for spring and for you to light up your looks. Some new polishes that popped up recently include Chanel's April, May, June, and Dior's Garden Party Collections. Chanel's Riva from last year's Cruise collection and OPI's Pirate collection also have some great pastel color choices for the up&coming pastel trend! But remember, as unique as Chanel and Dior can be, their polishes are way over-priced, as I consider Deborah Lippmann is already over-priced.


My recent favorite red carpet beauty is Rooney Mara after her Lisbeth Salander transformation. Her complexion goes really well with the black hair and dark brown brows. Her looks also made me want to purchase more timeless black&white pieces of clothing.
