Rosie Assoulin has everything you need in life. Let me break it down for ya...

Floor length coat for when you're fighting polar vortex. Cape shirt dress for warmer days when you want to look "school girl" but don't want to tan your arms. Navy/white skirt for fashion aprons.

Sari + track pants for when you want to pretend you're in comfy Indian clothes. Wide-legged jumpsuit for when you're at a movie premier yet you're just a supporting role but you still want to dress to impress. Olive top with elongated behind for when you're having a "bad butt day" (ladies...I think you know what I mean). Ankle-skirt for showing off your shoes. (Or, if you're short like me, we can end up looking like columns.)

This first b&w look for gallery openings. Structured coat for badass basics. And strapless top for looking like Taylor Tomasi Hill.

Tiered-back skirt for sweeping the floor. Second dress for bad days and there's no rainbow but you just want one on yourself. Light rosie (pun-intended) dress for my wedding day. And red dress for the receptions.

First dress for wanting to look fashionably sexy but don't really want to show cleavage. Second dress for attending events in cold days and you can't find a scarf. Last dress for Oscars on either Lupita or JLaw.

Jokes aside, her sophomore effort is so much amaze. Check out the entire collection here.

"Top-heavy" seems to be the trend here. The knits in the opening looks are very much fan favs. I also really liked the draped tops (multiple ones! yes!) and deconstructed suit jackets. There are actually a lot of really cool red pieces (red is another theme), like this one on Hanne, or this pant suit on Hollie-May. Overall, the fabric mixing really worked and is an improvement from Fall '13's similar efforts. (The '14 spring collection was nice though. You can see it here.)

Check out the entire collection here. There are some red-carpet ready gowns at the end!

J.Crew's collection is the only one that's close to accessible pour moi. Since at the end of the season a lot of "Collection items" go on huge sales (because average J.Crew "preppy/classy" buyers can't handle the awesomeness) and become affordable! I just wish a bigger J.Crew store is near me so I could get to see some collection pieces (and more clothes in general) in person before having to gamble with final sale...
Anyway. It's always colorful and put-together. I really adore the topcoats (forever functional) especially that floral one in the top row...and that colorblock furry one! I love every piece of  J.Crew knits even though I refuse to dry clean them. The shoes are incredible as well. It's the second collaboration between shoe designer Sophia Webster and J.Crew! (Though, J.Crew's shoes are insanely priced...) You can see some of my picks from the February J.Crew catalog in this post which includes some gorgeous shoes. All the floral stuff looks interesting too, but floral can be tricky so I'd have to see them in person to rule out tackiness.

You can check out the entire collection here. See some behind-the-scenes photos of this presentation on J.Crew's tumblr.

Who makes dreamier collections than Marc? While that seems rhetorical, let's all take a closer look at this collection. First of all, Marc always picks the best colors. And for me, his signature is definitely those subtle/muted/dreamy ones. This palette is best showed off on the ombre fur motor jackets + the last fluffy ruffly dresses. They also worked well with knits (knit bell-bottoms, my new thing; plus the runway favorite: deep V sweaters) and those midi dresses that kept coming. Accessories are really awesome too. The clean ostrich leather ones are gonna be a fan favorite. And the somewhat retro-modern low-heel boots are doomed to show up next season on the streets. My other favorite pieces in this collection are that color block sweater in second row on far right and that very girly cloud dress in first row. Again, I feel these colors are universally flattering (as long as you don't do the washed out makeup seen on models, which was totally purposeful for the dreamy effect).

Thumb hole picture for Pri. Totally forgot to mention, the models walked to Jessica Lange's spoken version of "Happy Days Are Here Again" which, AGAIN, is dreammmyy. Just watch the show!

You can see the entire collection here. You can watch the show on Marc Jacobs' site (for now).
