there're these nail polish posts. I finally received Essie's Masquerade Belle which I've been eying for a while. It's a perfect blood red color. Vampy! It is a must have for fans of shows like The Vampire Diaries and True Blood. =] I'm not sure if they carry this in stores any more (it came out a few years ago), but you can get them online fairly easily.

Surprising enough, this is my first essie nail polish. I don't know if it's just me, while I really love the glass bottle...I don't quite like the white cap. It looks like it can be very easily broken apart or something. Idk. I know other brands have plastic caps as well..but...-.-

The polish itself came out with the same color that I've been wanting for a while! Thanks to all the swatches I saw online. It's definitely super gorgeous. However, I did not expect to having to paint 3 coats for a dark polish like this to eliminate brush strokes. The other polishes I've got all only need 2 coats.

There are comparisons of this color with Essie Wicked and Chanel Rouge Noir. That Chanel polish would definitely give a more consistent and even application than this. But I'm pretty happy with what I have!

This morning I watched Gucci's runway show live on Style.com. SO DARK, MYSTERIOUS, AND AMAZING as always. I love Milan. London wrap-up post and Milan's first updates coming soon!
